weekend wario



friday:

went to see the lousy bums, SLA and the losin' streaks

lousy bums == lousy
SLA == some hits and misses
losin' streaks == don't remember

ate some pizza at pieces (aka greases) to curb a barf attack.. it seemed to work. niki and camille came to pick me up, and i could see that they were laughing at my drunk ass.

woke up feeling ok, but not good enough for some basketball. i was looking forward to make it up by playing some kickball in the afternoon. no one showed up, so i wound up shootin' the breeze in the park for a few hours, which wasn't all that bad. i spent most of the day reading "a storm of swords" by george r.r. martin, which is book three in the "a song of ice and fire" series.

heather s. called us up to hang out that night, but niki and i had already made plans, so i thought i'd make it up to her and dan by inviting them out to breakfast at fox and goose the next morning. they accepted the offer and we had a nice morning catching up on things. we hadn't really hung out in a while, which is a shame since they have always been great friends to us. it was a good way to start the day. i read my book the remainder of the afternoon, taking a break to walk up to tonevendor to pick up these two cds i've been meaning to pick up for a while now. i'm trying to curb my cd buying habit so i can save money for the house, but's it's hard!
